The Audrain Concours Cars & Coffee 2021 was a sunny success in Newport. The huge crowd saw automobiles from early 1900s to today’s exotics.
The Labor Day weekend is a wonderful time to visit Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. The Lime Rock Historic Festival 2019 was the 37th annual vintage racing car event.
One of the best features of the Lime Rock Historic Festival is the Sunday in the Park Concours. 2019 was a prime example.
There are a few car events that are on most fans’ “must go” list. A relatively recent addition to the list is the Goodwood Festival of Speed and/or the Goodwood Revival.
It was a great day for Cars and Coffee at Newport, Rhode Island. It was the second such meeting for 2019, held at The Elms Mansion.
The assortment of exotic cars at the 14th annual Americana Manhasset Concours d’Elegance was staggering. Held in the parking lot of a Long Island shopping center for the well-heeled, it is part car show and part car sales.

When speaking of cars on New York’s Long Island, most folks think of the traffic. Lots and lots of traffic. As a lifetime Longislander (yes, it is one word), I think of Cars and Coffee at Oak Beach.
I first met the Booths in the late 1980s. Their Car-toons by Booth business was young and already very popular. Racing art was a very niche thing then, yet their whimsical car caricatures were immediate breakout hits.
