Velocity: Can-Am 1971
Celebrated author and photographer Pete Lyons once again reminds us how wonderful the original Can-Am was. The 2021 addition celebrates the championship of the late American driver Peter Revson. His McLaren M8F and that of Denis Hulme continued the domination by the McLaren team. Jackie Stewart presented a strong challenge with his stubby Lola T260, winning 2 races. Still, he was no match for McLaren. Neither was the radical Shadow. Or any of the other challengers. 24 color photos will keep you entertained the whole year.
