Free kart numbers for life!

If you roadrace in a club regularly, you probably have a club-assigned number. Many racers purchase vinyl adhesive-backed numbers to afix to their kart. However, if you run outside of your club, you'll find yourself taping on numbers provided by the host organization. You can provide fresh numbers for either situation without buying any! Create the numbers you need in the typeface you like, in the color you choose and the size you need. Use a computer drawing program like CorelDraw or similar. When you
are happy with the artwork, print to your inkjet or laser printer. Then tape on your kart with clear packing tape (below, right), or better still, clear weatherseal tape (below, left). The weatherseal tape has better adhesion at high speed.
